Plain Language Description: Ocean to Strata Integration
Amplify Care and Strata Health Solutions Inc. (Strata) are integrating their Ocean and Strata Pathways platforms to improve communication and create a more seamless referral experience between community providers and certain mental health and addiction services and developmental services. The integration will allow the eCE network members to easily send and manage referrals to Strata users, specifically the Ontario Psychologist Association (OPA) and Developmental Services Ontario (DSO).
Through the integration, Amplify Care’s network members can send referrals for mental health or developmental services to organizations using Strata Pathway platforms. Data from the Ocean referral will be automatically populated into the Strata Pathways platform system which allows Strata’s users (i.e., OPA, DSO) to collect the referrals. The OPA/DSO’s referral navigator staff will triage the referral in the Strata Pathways platform and share the referral with an appropriate provider who can provide the services required by the patient with the shortest wait time using the Strata Pathways platform.
The integration will also allow the Strata Pathways platform to send status updates, such as when the appointment is booked or the referral is forwarded, to the Referring Provider and patient/client automatically. The integration will further enable the Referring Provider and Strata Pathways users to exchange messages with one another.
The eServices eReferral Program is managed by Amplify Care and funded by Ontario Health. The Ocean eReferral Network is owned and operated by CognisantMD.
Strata Pathway is owned and operated by Strata Health Solutions Inc.
