The eHealth Centre of Excellence strives to create and develop EMR tools that offer the latest evidence-based information at the point of care to ensure that all clinicians have access to improve the efficiency of documenting as well as improve the quality of care for patients. In order to evaluate our work and ensure we are providing value through our tools, it is important to us that clinicians can submit feedback in near-real time and that we can track usage to understand the extent to which our tools are being used. Opting into usage analytics allows our team to collect general information about your usage (e.g., clinic name, name of tool used, date of usage, clinician type, anonymized clinician ID and anonymized patient ID).
There is absolutely no Personal Health Information (PHI) collected by usage analytics. Information collected by usage analytics may be shared with external organizations, such as funding bodies, partner organizations, and evaluators, to support program evaluation, sustainability, and future funding opportunities.
Usage Data Being Collected:
We collect general information about your usage (e.g., clinic name, name of tool used, date of usage, clinician type, anonymized clinician ID and anonymized patient ID). There is absolutely no Personal Health Information (PHI) collected by usage analytics, and no assessment of clinical knowledge or expertise is made. Information collected by usage analytics may be shared with external organizations, such as funding bodies and evaluators, to support program evaluation, sustainability, and future funding opportunities. Contact privacy at [email protected] for more information.
Benefits of Participation to You:
By agreeing to participate, you will be automatically notified when a new version of the tool is available and receive other support from us directly as needed. You will also be able to compare your use of the tool with other unidentified users. As noted above, the collection of usage data allows us to share our learnings with funders to support future funding opportunities so that we can continue to develop EMR tools to support clinicians.
