As previously announced, the seven hospitals in the Waterloo Wellington region are set to receive Diagnostic Imaging (DI) referrals as part of the System Coordinated Access (SCA) program in March 2018!

Primary care clinicians will be able to send electronic referrals (through the Ocean eReferral Network) to Hospital DI departments directly from most electronic medical records (EMRs).

As part of the move to eReferral, new standardized DI requisition forms (e.g. one MRI form for all hospitals, one CT form for all hospitals) will be in place at launch.
